Refund Policy
Effective date: April 28, 2026
This Refund Policy applies to purchases of digital content provided by Sovaboo Digital OÜ, registry code 17150442 (“Sovaboo Digital”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). It should be read together with our Terms of Use and Digital Content Purchase Terms.
1. Digital Content
Sovaboo Digital provides digital books and related digital content, including Online Reading and, where available, downloadable files such as EPUB or PDF.
Because digital content can be accessed immediately and cannot be physically returned after supply, refunds are available only in the cases described below or where required by applicable law.
2. When a Refund May Be Available
You may request a refund if:
- you paid for Digital Content, but access was not supplied due to a technical issue attributable to Sovaboo Digital;
- the Digital Content has a technical defect that prevents normal reading and we cannot provide a corrected file, replacement access, or another reasonable remedy;
- you have not started Online Reading, downloaded the Digital File, or otherwise accessed the purchased Digital Content;
- you cancel a paid Pre-order before the Digital Content becomes available;
- Sovaboo Digital cancels your Order because the Digital Content cannot be supplied;
- applicable law requires a refund.
3. When a Refund Is Generally Not Available
Unless required by applicable law, refunds are generally not available if:
- you have started Online Reading;
- you have downloaded the Digital File;
- the Digital Content has otherwise been supplied to you with your consent;
- the Digital Content is technically accessible and corresponds to its description, but you do not like its plot, genre, style, characters, ending, literary quality, artistic value, typography, cover, or other creative aspects;
- the issue is caused by your device, software, reading application, internet connection, or failure to follow reasonable technical instructions;
- your access was restricted because of breach of our Terms, unlawful use, fraud, payment abuse, copyright infringement, or attempted circumvention of access controls.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] and include:
- the email address connected to your Account or Order;
- the Order number or payment reference, if available;
- the title of the Digital Content;
- a short explanation of the reason for your request.
We may ask for additional information if needed to verify the purchase or investigate the issue.
5. Refund Method
Approved refunds are normally made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless this is not technically possible or another method is required by the payment provider or applicable law.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, card issuer, bank, currency, and country.
If a refund is issued, Sovaboo Digital may revoke access to the refunded Digital Content.
